You can come to the United Kingdom without a work permit if you a member of a film crew filming on location. You must be employed and paid overseas and coming only for location sequences. A film crew includes people who are essential to the film:
On location means the filming should be at specific locations. Filming being carried out in a studio will usually require work permits. You can obtain permission to come to the United Kingdom for up to 12 months under this category.
Although it is not mandatory, you should get entry clearance if you are a non-European Economic Area (EEA) national to enter the United Kingdom in most cases.
