This page will explain whether or not you will be able to extend your stay while studying in the UK.
If you are currently studying in the UK as a student you may be able to extend your stay if you satisfy the following:
you last entered the UK under valid studying in the UK clearance;
to re-sit an examination;
as a student union sabbatical officer;
as a work permit holder. Please see our working in the UK section for more details
;under the international graduates scheme;
under the fresh talent: working in Scotland scheme; or
you have valid leave as a student studying in the UK
If you are studying in the UK as a student visitor you will not be able to extend your stay. This is because there are no circumstances under the studying in the UK as a student visitor scheme for which an extension can be granted.
